B. speed writing (10 points)
I think theatre is where people can express how they feel about everything in this day and age. For example, theatre back in the Shakespearean time had plays written about how the world was seen at the time. Now, plays are written about how people try to deal with daily life or they wrote a play because they think is good. Most of theatre can be pictured on a stage, but now theatre has left the stage and gone out into the world.
C. CRITICAL THINKING SKILL: EVALUATING QUALITY AND RELEVANCY OF INFORMATION PART 1 (15 POINTS)
1. Criteria
2. What is theatre?
Theatre is like an onion. Theatre has many topics when you go deep into it, like an onion has many layers. Theatre has been around for as long as human history can be recorded, so it has many layers. It has been used to express the many lessons, life-stories, and how society has been seen in many plays. Each play has a certain purpose as to what the creator of the play wants you to take from the play. The impact that each play has on an individual depends on what the creator put as the purpose. Now, theatre has left the theater and is out in the world to spread its purpose.

d. assessing your level (40 points)
a. Critical thinking, in my own words, is the ability to think on a higher level. A good critical thinker is able to analyze anything with different perspectives of himself/herself.

Three ways I can improve:
- I can spend more time evaluating how I think about every day things
- I'll try to critically think about the decisions I make
- I'll try to think about things ethically and not based on my opinion, like looking at both sides
e. what's the difference? (40 points)
What is the difference between understanding deeply what theatre is and being able to give a definition?
The difference between understanding deeply what theatre is and being able to give the definition is the amount of knowledge you have for theatre. People with very little knowledge of theatre can still give a definition of what theatre is by looking it up. You wouldn't be able to know what the definition is trying to say unless you understand what theatre is deeply. Understanding deeply what theatre is helps you understand what theatre actually is. You will be able to understand the true meaning of whatever topic involving theatre means and that can aid in many things. Anyone can say a definition, but not everyone can i=understand deeply what theatre is.
